If you prefer to view distances in kilometers instead of miles—or your speed in knots, FlightAware makes it easy to customize how units of measure are displayed on your account. This quick guide will show you how to change the units to match your preferences.

Step 1: Log In to Your Account
- Go to the FlightAware login page.
- Enter the primary email on your FlightAware Account and click Log In.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Account Management Settings
There are two ways to navigate to the management page:
- Direct Link

From the home page
A.) After logging in, click on My Account in the top right corner.

B.) Select the option for My Account from the menu tab.
Step 3: Edit Your Preferences
Under step 5, you will find your display options. You can adjust the following:
Language and Date Formats, Time Zone,Time Format, Distance Units, Speed Units, and Altitude Units.
