If you need to make changes to your flight alerts in the FlightAware mobile app, it's easy to do right from your device. Whether you're updating notification preferences or modifying the list of flights you're tracking, you can manage your alerts in just a few steps.

Step 1: Log into your account on the App
- If you need assistance ensuring you are logged in, please reference this page.
Step 2: Navigate to the Alerts Management Page
- When you open the app, a drop-down menu showing your recent searches and your configured flight alerts should populate automatically. If you do not see this upon opening the app, you may have to drag the menu down from the top of the screen manually.
- Once you locate the Flight Alerts bar, click the "Manage" option to the right of the screen (circled in red in the image below).
Step 3: Add, Edit, or Remove your Flight Alerts
- Listed on this page, you will see your current flight alerts listed.
- Add Alert - Click the blue "+" Plus sign in the top right corner.
- Edit Alert - Click the bell icon on the left of the alert you wish to edit. From here, you can adjust the alert date, alert type, and the 'minutes out'.
- Delete Alert - Select the 'edit' option on the right side of the screen. This will populate red, minus signs next to all listed alerts. This way you can select which alerts to delete.

How to Make Sure Notifications Are Enabled for an App on iPhone:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Scroll down and tap on the app’s name (or you can use the search bar at the top to find it quickly).

Tap "Notifications."

Make sure "Allow Notifications" is turned on (the toggle should be green).

Choose your preferred alert style under Alerts:

Lock Screen

Notification Center
-
Banners
-
-
Optionally, turn on Sounds and Badges if you'd like those as well.
