How Do I Generate A New FATV Link?

Need to update your FlightAware TV Map settings or share a refreshed version? You can easily edit your existing map configuration and generate a new URL to reflect those changes.

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Step 2: Navigate to Your FlightAware TV

There are two ways to navigate to this:

  1. Direct Link

  2. From the My Account Section

    1. After logging in, click on My Account from the navigation menu.

    2. Select the option for FlightAware TV in the user tab.

Step 3: Edit Your Map

From there you will be presented with your Airport Map or Fleet Map. You can reconfigure your map settings and click the green button labeled "Generate Map URL".

  • Aircraft list is derived from My FlightAware / My Aircraft section
  • Limit increases to 150 aircraft
  • Ident would need to be entered to match how the aircraft is operating

Airport Map

  • Map displays inbounds & outbounds at a particular airport
  • Green - Outbounds
  • Blue - Inbounds
  • Map can be set to filter Commercial or GA flights
  • User generated URL does not display any blocked aircraft

 

 

Additional Notes:

  • If you clear cookies in your TV-attached internet browser, you must return to this page to get a new URL. Each URL is good for one TV internet browser.
  • Users can generate multiple URLs to display the same map in multiple locations, without any additional charge.
