As of October 22, 2024, FlightAware rolled out a streamlined login experience that no longer requires a password and uses Multi-Factor Authentication to enhance security. This replaces the need for passwords with one-time verification codes sent via email, reducing the risk of password-related attacks.
To sign in, simply visit login.flightaware.com and choose from three login options: Google, Apple ID, or your email address. If you select email, you’ll need to enter the email associated with your FlightAware account to then receive a 6-digit verification code to that email address. Enter the code to login securely.
For added security, you’ll also have the option to configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to utilize a verification code from an authenticator app of your choice.
