How do I submit a temporary unblock request?

To assist aircraft owners and operators awaiting the processing of their FAA LADD unblocking request, we offer the option to temporarily unblock aircraft on the FlightAware website. 

 

You can request a temporary unblock by sending an email to support@flightaware.com. Please use "Temporary unblock with FAA LADD request" as the subject line. 

In your email, make sure to attach a screenshot or copy of the email confirmation indicating that your FAA LADD request has been submitted, as well as a copy of your aircraft registration.

 

Once we receive your email, our team will carefully verify the attached documents. Upon verification, we will proceed to unblock your aircraft temporarily. This temporary unblocking will remain in effect for up to 30 days.

When request from the FAA is processed and completed, we will update our system to remove the block entirely. However, if we do not receive an update from the FAA within 30 days, your aircraft will be blocked again.
